MECANOAK ® - the professional alternative solution!
In collaboration with the company Wilhelm EDER, the TONNELLERIE VERNOU has developed an accessories system of tanks to allow the application of staves. The MECANOAK ®, completely made from high-grade steel of the quality 316 L, can be used in tanks from high-grade steel and cement. His construction allows the vinification, as well as the maturation of red and white wines equally. Also the alcoholic fermentation is possible due to the stability and the twist rigidity of the construction.
The system construction method allows the application in all tanks up to a content volume of 600 hl:
High-grade steel tanks:
- Diameter of 1.60 meters up to 4 meters
- Height of 1.90 meters up to 5 meters
Square or rectangular arrangement in the concrete tank:
- Length and height of 2 meters to 5 meters
MECANOAK ® - stability and flexibility!
Modular system of 4 up to 10 surfaces and from 1 up to 4 levels of the Mecanos is possible. Horizontal connection with plug connectors and external shells.
Vertical connection with foot anchorages and adaptable adjustable anchorages.
Wood and wine: the Mecanos as staves!
The Mecanos staves are linked with the high-grade steel skeleton from stainless high-grade steel of the quality V4A in a food-safe quality:
- Form of the Mecanos: simply, double, and triply or fourfold.
- The suitable surface in comparison with a Barrique amounts between 30% and 90%.
The staves of the TONNELLERIE VERNOU are from oak which was air-dried 24 months. They are produced precisely according to the staves for the barrel production:
- Origin: French and American oak
- Standard toastings: medium and medium plus
- Toastings on inquiry: light and strong
